The 3rd Annual
Victorian Christmas Ball

November 29th, 2003    Phoenix, Arizona
Our 3rd annual grand and festive Victorian Christmas Ball was visually stunning, featuring reeling and waltzing dancers clad in the best of Victorian style clothing (circa 1840-1900) as well as tasteful modern evening attire.

Arizona's most charming ladies of all ages were resplendent in beautiful hoopskirts and bustle gowns as handsome, well dressed gentlemen respectfully served as suitable backdrops for the feminine works of art.

The music was appealing, the dancing lively, the caroling joyful, the manners exquisite and the 19th century social ambience caused all to long for more.

Enjoy the comments and photos. This was a special event well worth remembering.

Bidding to one and all "good tidings of comfort and joy" throughout the year

Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.

Hark! The herald angels sing,
“Glory to the newborn King;
Peace on earth, and mercy mild,
God and sinners reconciled!”
Joyful, all ye nations rise,
Join the triumph of the skies;
With th’angelic host proclaim,
“Christ is born in Bethlehem!”
Hark! the herald angels sing,
“Glory to the newborn King!”

Christ, by highest heav’n adored;
Christ the everlasting Lord;
Late in time, behold Him come,
Offspring of a virgin’s womb.
Veiled in flesh the Godhead see;
Hail th’incarnate Deity,
Pleased as man with men to dwell,
Jesus our Emmanuel.
Hark! the herald angels sing,
“Glory to the newborn King!”

Hail the heav’nly Prince of Peace!
Hail the Sun of Righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings,
Ris’n with healing in His wings.
Mild He lays His glory by,
Born that man no more may die.
Born to raise the sons of earth,
Born to give them second birth.
Hark! the herald angels sing,
“Glory to the newborn King!”
