The 1st Virginia Infantry was invited to participate in the 150th anniversary reenactments of the Battles of The Wilderness and Spotsylvania. Our living history team traveled from Arizona, California, Hawaii, New York and Virginia to gather for this special commemorative event held in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. Our family friendly reenacting team held educational demonstrations for 2,000 Virginia school children, participated in the battle reenactments along with 7,000 other reenactors and visited historic Fredericksburg, Stratford Hall, Yorktown and Williamsburg.

Our nationwide living history team is always recruiting and training men, women and children who desire to learn and serve together in presenting our American Heritage of the American Revolution and the Civil War. We also welcome inquiries regarding participating in historical and educational events. Contact us here.
